We are a passionate team of over 15 highly skilled and qualified Speech Pathologists with a special interest in supporting individuals with brain injuries and neurological conditions. Our focus is on delivering personalised interventions to improve speech, communication, and swallowing function.
Our clinicians are committed to staying at the forefront of the field. Through weekly clinical supervision, in-house learning sessions, peer therapy reviews, and ongoing professional development, we ensure our team remains at the cutting edge of speech pathology care.
We actively participate in key conferences, including The Brain Injury Conference, the Australasian Society for the Study of Brain Impairment, and Speech Pathology Australia’s national conference. Our clinicians also benefit from professional development opportunities through Speech Pathology Australia and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
We provide comprehensive swallowing assessments and treatment for individuals with dysphagia (swallowing difficulties), helping to ensure safe and effective swallowing while enhancing quality of life. We are also at the forefront of prescribing Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) devices, empowering individuals with speech impairments to express themselves and connect with others.
Our goal is to offer compassionate, individualised care tailored to each person’s unique needs. By integrating the latest research and evidence-based practices, we ensure our interventions are grounded in the most current treatment guidelines.
Our senior clinicians play a crucial role in mentoring speech pathology university students and fostering the next generation of professionals.

Rebekah Dewberry

Director / Certified Practising Speech Pathologist
Rebekah graduated from Macquarie University with a Master of Speech and Language Pathology in 2005 after completing a Bachelor of Social Science (Psych) from the University of New England in 2003. Rebekah also completed a Graduate Certificate in Health Professional Education from the Australian Catholic University in 2020.
With a deep-seated passion for brain injury and cognitive communication, Rebekah pursued her goal of supporting individuals with brain injuries through various clinical services in both public and private health sectors.
Kerin Phillips
Kerin joined the Red Soup Speech Pathology team in 2020, bringing over 15 years of experience in customer service. In her role as Administration Manager, Kerin oversees the administrative operations across our clinics, ensuring that clients, their loved ones, advocates and carers receive the support they need.
As the first point of contact for clients, Kerin assists with onboarding clients, clinician allocation, and communication with stakeholders. She serves as a vital link between our clients, clinical team and key stakeholders, helping to navigate the client induction process and the financial processes relating to quotes, approvals, and invoicing.
