Rebekah Dewberry

Director / Certified Practising Speech Pathologist

Rebekah graduated from Macquarie University with a Master of Speech Language Pathology in 2005 after completing a Bachelor of Social Science (Psych) from the University of New England in 2003.  Rebekah also completed a Graduate Certificate in Health Professional Education from the Australian Catholic University in 2020. Rebekah identified a passion for brain injury and cognitive communication whilst a student and was able to realise her goal of working with people with acquired brain injury during her time across several clinical services in the public and private health sectors.  

Rebekah is the founding owner and director of Red Soup Speech Pathology since its formation in 2009. Rebekah has full membership as a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia.  She is registered to provide services to clients participating in the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). She is also a member of The Australasian Society for the Study of Brain Impairment (ASSBI), the International Brain Injury Association (IBIA) and is Medicare and DVA registered.

Having held clinical and senior management roles in both public and private sectors has resulted in a strong focus on accountability, evidence-based practice and interdisciplinary teamwork, with a strong commitment to driving excellence in clinical practice and active engagement in industry, academia and mentoring. In addition to her clinical work, Rebekah is passionate about clinical education and enjoys taking students both in private practice and university placements.  In her spare time, Rebekah enjoys hiking, kayaking and sailing.


Kerin Phillips

National Office Manager

Kerin joined the Red Soup Speech Pathology team in 2020 after working in the customer service industry for over 15 years. She manages the administrative operations of the business across both our North and South clinics. Supporting therapists, clients and their families with anything they need is Kerin’s priority.

Kerin is the first port of call for clients, providing assistance with initial onboarding, allocation to clinicians and communication with stakeholders. She serves as the crucial link between the clinical team and funding bodies, offering valuable assistance in navigating financial aspects related to quotes, approvals, and invoicing.

Kerin plays a crucial role in overseeing and providing support to both our clients and the clinical team. As an indispensable member of the Red Soup Speech Pathology managment team, Kerin has been instrumental in shaping and implementing systems and procedures that have evolved alongside the growth of the business.

Kerin also actively contributes to the development and maintenance of the client database and records, and plays a role in staff onboarding and orientation.
